Inspired by the growing worldwide coworking movement, BEAHIVE is a new kind of collaborative workspace. At the most fundamental level, we provide a shared, creative work environment for entrepreneurs, the creative class, microbusinesses and consultants.

We also plan programs and events to inspire, educate and bond members and the community: personal and professional development workshops, seminars, social and cultural events.

Perhaps more importantly, we're kicking around ideas to collaborate on projects that will help in creating a lively, living, local community. (See our vision of the positive impact we can have on the area.) A community incubator.

The original BEAHIVE opened in May right in the heart of Beacon's Main Street in an artisan-renovated 1907 Bell Telephone building. (Beacon is the reason for the "A" in BEAHIVE.)

Coworking comes to Kingston.

BEAHIVE partnered with Chronogram (Luminary Publishing) to populate another hive in Kingston. We opened on Wall St. in December.

We're hoping we can help inject some energy into Kingston by corralling talented folks out of their homes and into one place to create a buzzing community space.
